Next door there is the Pieta` Church where the famous italian musician Vivaldi used to play and where his music is still being played in concerts. ROOMS Rooms are quite large in size and furnished in rich Venetian style with moquette and fabrics of warm colours and precious texture. Rooms are equipped with all the modern comforts and advanced tecnology. Some of the marbled bathrooms feature Jacuzzi or idro-massage shower. Few rooms benefit also of an unforgettable view of the San Mark`s basin with its islands and monuments on the background. RESTAURANT There is a small but well arranged breakfast room with marbled floors and walls painted in pastel colours. Much attention to details is paid on the way the breakfast tables and the buffet is presented. There is also a bar with few tables located in the hotel dependance located just outside the courtyard door. EXTERIOR This is a traditional Venetian building in keeping with the surroundings. On the top floor there is a panoramic terrace overlooking the San Mark`s basin. LOBBY The small but very well presented lobby is furnished in traditional Venetian style. Reception desk is made of an antique table and a chair is friendly placed in front of it, to allow to sit while talking to the professional hotel staff. There are green sofas and armchairs while the predominant colours of the table fabrics is golden. The area is adorned with flowers and plants, scented candles and Murano glass. GENERAL This is an excellent property, small and cosy, in a very central positon and prestigious location. The quality of the service and of the facilities offered is of as superior standard. Strongly recommended. Recently the management added a dependance, in the same style and with the same caracteristics of the rest of the hotel, with a bar and a meeting room, just on the other side of the hotel courtyard.
